Five years ago, almost to the minute, I held my sweet Kate for the first time. I remember thinking how strange it was to love someone so intensely after just meeting. It seems like yesterday and like a million years ago. I’ve made lots of mistakes and asked her many times for forgiveness. Hopefully I’m doing more things right than wrong. All I know is that I am so infinitely blessed to call this sweet child mine.
