Kate had her long-awaited Spring Program last week. These preschool programs are just about the sweetest things imaginable (well, assuming you’re a mom of one of the stars or a big fan of 1-5 year olds in general). Thankfully I’m both, so I was in heaven!
The shows always start off with the “babies” and it’s hilarious to see their little personalities shining through on stage. There’s always the kid picking his nose, the kid shaking his booty, and the kid looking around like “Where the heck am I?” They sing and dance and then the “big kids” come in.
This program had a theme of Sesame Street and Kate wore a Big Bird t-shirt. She sang a song at the microphone with a few kids AND had her own line this time. She was thrilled about it! We practiced and practiced her line at home and she nailed it. “But there’s one other thing that makes tubby time the BEST time of the whole day. And do you know what that is?”
Here are some pictures!!
A certain little Sissy knew all of the songs and couldn’t wait to try out the stage once the show was over!

How sweet! I know what you mean, I used to love our children’s pre-school and kindergarten programs! Now I’ll have grandkids to start experiencing them all over again!
