HOLY MOLY!! It’s busy
And sleepless. And dramatic. But more wonderful than anything.
We went to church last weekend and I kept Harper with me. Here is a picture of all of us, although you can’t see Harper (she’s in the stroller under my hand):
I took all three girls to drop Kate off at preschool Monday and it took forever! ha. I’m sure we’ll get in a groove (right?). I wish I had a few more arms though. Kate was thrilled to show off her baby sister and Sara Paige was *super* protective of Harper. She circled the stroller like a shark and shoved away anyone who tried to get close. She would yell “My baby Parper (Harper). NO YOU.” Sara Paige is definitely a bruiser. She fluctuates between tough as nails and ultra carefree:
This week we registered Kate for kindergarten (say what?!)…
Tuesday night Brad sprained his ankle playing soccer. The whole thing is giant and purple. Wednesday, both girls got sick and Kate came home from school early. Thankfully they are feeling better and Harper isn’t sick at all. I was definitely feeling stressed that day.
Speaking of Miss H, she is such a love and so easy going. She eats every hour and a half around the clock (she’ll go one 3 hour stretch sometime during the day). Mama is tired! She loves, loves, loves to snuggle but I am certain I love it more
I took her for our first non-doctor-appointment-outing last night to the Dallas Modern Quilt Guild meeting. Look at all these cute babies!
Harper did great. Until she got hungry. I had pumped a bottle but she wanted NOTHING to do with it. Thankfully when we got home, she took her first bottle from Brad and all was well with the world. Until she got hungry again
Have a great weekend!
Jenny

with 3 I definately feel out numbered!
it get easier though
Jenny, I relate to you. Life is crazy here, but so wonderful. Your girls are precious. You are a rock star – not sure how you do everything you do.
Jenny, I love the little updates we are getting of your new addition! Congrats she is a beauty!
Beautiful family! I had three little girls and one little boy (all grown with little ones of their own now!). Families are truly a blessing! Enjoy, as you’ve already noticed, it goes really fast! My oldest grandson is three (I have five grandsons and a granddaughter on the way) and going to preschool in fall. I can hardly believe he’s that old already and his little brother just turned one.
Loved all the sweet photos! Miss Harper is just gorgeous, like the other two of course! I’m glad to hear all is going well, even if it is tiresome, it certainly doesn’t last. Here’s hoping this wonderful *season* of wee ones continues to go smoothly for you. Kindergarten already for Miss Kate?? Wow, time goes crazy fast but that is such a fun time in school…not like middle school meltdowns…ha!! Thanks for sharing your little loves with all of us! They always make me smile! :O)
What a beatiful addition to your family. Congratulations. Enjoy the cuddles they are priceless blessings. Mine only sleeps in my arms during the day & while I am worn out some days I adore her and every precios moment.
I don’t know how you do it in the states. One of my friends lived there when she had her bub and was stunned at how different the culture around breast feeding (nursing as I believe you call it) is. Here we have parents rooms at most shopping centres and laws protecting a mothers right to feed anywhere. I carry a cotton cover for my privacy. It has a stap to go round my neck and a piece of boning to allow me to see bub, but most mums here just use a blankie or muslin wrap. It must be so difficult but I guess we do what we know. How do you find it?
Such a beautiful family you have! I am one of three girls…smile…such fun!
