Harper’s week appointment went very well! The doctor didn’t think she looked jaundiced (yay!) but she had dropped a little more weight (down to 8.4 – she was 8.14 at birth and left the hospital at 8.8). I bring her back on Tuesday for her 2 week check-up and hopefully she’s bulked up a bit by then
She’s eating every 2 hours round the clock, so I’m optimistic.
I’m trying to do at least *something* small and special with just Kate and Sara Paige each day, even if it’s for 20 minutes. One night we did french braids and pedicures and yesterday after Kate got home from school, Brad and I did this puff paint craft with the girls.
The girls loved this and Brad and I thought it was pretty fun too. You probably have everything on hand to do this craft in a flash. I think we may do it again in a few days. Of course before the 20 minutes was up, Harper started to cry and I had to slip away to feed her, but at least I tried
I just have to show you this picture of Harper yesterday. She slept on my lap when I was studying Chemistry. She’s just not that interested in acids and bases, what can I say!

What a cutie. She doesn’t look underfed….she will start putting it on!!
Awww man, I love Harper’s little rosebud lips! She looks so snuggly and healthy! I’m sure she’s doing just fantastic! The puffy paint project looks like lots of fun…yay for big sister time.
