Today Harper is 6 days old! Hard to believe
I’m getting ready to take her to her first doctor’s appointment this afternoon and am curious how much she weighs. She was born at 8.14 and left the hospital at 8.8. I think she’s got some jaundice but I’m hoping not too much. We’ll see what the doctor says.
Harper is a LOVE. She is a pretty laid back little thing so far (thank you, God!). She didn’t really like it much when Sara Paige shoved her finger in her mouth though. I don’t blame her. It didn’t look like fun.
Kate and Sara Paige are very interested in Harper and want to see what she’s doing all the time. They are definitely adjusting though and we’ve had quite a few dramatic and teary days. I am looking forward to getting into a routine. I’m SO thankful Brad took off most of this week. The thought of getting everyone ready and keeping them entertained while caring for a newborn is overwhelming right now. Harper eats every two hours around the clock – yowza, I forgot what that was like!!
Here are some pictures from the last few days…
This morning with all 3 girls (I promise Harper is in there!):

It’s going to be fun for me to follow since our girls are one day apart and it seems we’ll be going through many of the same things (although I only have 1 older daughter). We’re also gearing up for her first Dr appointment and I’m trying to figure out how I’ll settle into a routine (or even shower) once my hubby has to go back to work. Luckily he gets 4 weeks off!
Jenny Baker!! Now Garland… which sounds so close to Judy by the way!
It’s Katie Evans, Cox now… hopefully, you remember me, or else this is going to be a silly message for you! I found your blog through The Poe Fam. I do not know B personally but have kept up with her because of her FABULOUS ideas… she was friends of friends of mine at Baylor! Anyway… when I saw your picture from your shower the other day I about FLIPPED! And then she posted the link to your blog and I am IN LOVE with your sweet family of three girls! Wow… so much fun! They are precious/beautiful! It looks like y’all are doing great… I am THRILLED to have a girl-Mommy blogger friend to follow. Justin and I have a 2 year old boy named Caden but are expecting a girl in July!! Bring on the ruffles and bows! Okay this is officially the LONGEST comment ever, but I just HAD to say hi and CONGRATS! We blog too… http://www.katieandjustincox.blogspot.com. Keep in touch!
You are a rock star that you have already updated your blog …. I’ve been terrible! But looks like things are going well. Was gonna see if I could bring you lunch maybe next week – maybe Tuesday or Thursday when my girls are in school? Let me know!
Awww….so many great photos!!! By the way, you look just FAB girl….can’t even tell you just had a baby…amazing genes you have! My goodness…Harper is so gorgeous “you could eat her with a spoon” as Kelly from Kelly’s Korner likes to say! Hah! Have a blessed week with your three perty girls! Glad Brad is home to help…I remember those days and an extra pair of hands is SO wonderful.
Hi. I just came across your blog from the poe fam. Congratulations on your new baby girl. I was going back and reading older posts and love the way your remodel looks. I was wondering what color you used to paint your walls and cabinets? Thanks so much!
Love the pic of your 3 Girls together.
