By Friday evening, the contractors had ripped out all of the old floor, painted the kitchen and family room, and the kitchen cabinets. I really love the paint colors. It’s not for everyone, but it’s definitely for me! There will be brushed nickel knobs on the cabinets and pulls on the drawers. They’re coming back this morning to lay tile in the kitchen and nook.
Kate and Sara Paige were flower girls in Brad’s cousin’s wedding this weekend and it was the sweetest thing. I’ll post pictures and a video of that this week too! Here’s a sneak peek of their fancy wedding hair:
The grandmas are watching Sara Paige while Kate is at school today so I am off to study kid-free (way easier!).

WOW! It’s a totally different house! I love it! Our bathroom is a similar color. Watching the light change in that room throughout the day is awesome…can’t wait to see it all styled up!
I love those colors! I think everything is a pretty neutral shade which will make everything you add (like the knobs and wall hangings) look beautiful. I envy your new kitchen. I want to paint my cabinets but I’m afraid to take on a big job just now.
Can’t wait to see it finished! I’ve thought about going white for cabinets, not sure I could convince hubby though!
