We had the best time, Jenny, and you went above and beyond as usual! Great birthday party, and it was so good to see you at the next 2 parties over the weekend! NOW GET SOME REST! How you do everything you do, I will never know. Can’t wait to come back to see the girls in the wedding, and then for Harper’s arrival! Love you guys!

I saw a few posts about Project Life on your blog when I first put you in my follow list but I didn’t really look at it. I realise now what you are trying to do. It is a great idea. I have a lot of photos with one word captions or dates and a separate journal with lots of things like cute ways the girls said things like pinio for piano. I love reading over them sometimes. It was before real scrapbooking. I also have 3 school project books (before acid free was talked about) where I scrapbooked our life in Bundeena, then our life in Brisbane, then our 2 years in New Zealand. They are real treasures. I stopped keeping track when the girls got in their teens and my husband and I think back and can only remember snippets of our lives back then. Now I have revived the photo journal ( few words) by taking some photos each month and collecting them ready to put in a bound booklet for that year. I have booklets for 2008 and 2009 and it gives us such pleasure to look back on all the things that happened no matter how simple or small. I guess what I am trying to say is that it is easy to be motivated when the children are small but you have to keep it up in some way. I wish I had more before and after the children. I enjoy your blog. Cheers from Brisbane.
