Trust me, you wouldn’t want to see it. I was putting away Kate’s clean clothes (that had been waiting to be put away for approximately 10 days) tonight. Sara Paige was playing on Kate’s bed and Kate was handing me hangers. We were singing songs and shaking our booties and then out of nowhere, an explosion. And friends, I mean EXPLOSION.
Sara Paige had the loudest and nastiest diaper blowout in the history of ever. All over Kate’s clean sheets. And comforter. And pillow. And sham. Poor thing (well, both of them). Kate was horrified and SP looked at me with an expression that screamed “What in God’s name just happened here?!” Sara Paige kept saying “Poop! Poop! Uh oh. Poop! Uh oh.” Sweet girl. I just am not sure there’s a “good” way to clean up that kind of mess. I ripped off all bedding and am hoping a few times in the washer will erase any evidence.
Yikes. Whoever said being a mother is glamorous, hasn’t walked through my front door!
Thankfully, Kate’s fast asleep in the other twin bed and SP is passed out in her crib. I’m about to go check on her to make sure she hasn’t exploded again.

My nephew had a blowout like that at Pancho’s. There are no words for the horror of diaper explosions.
Hah…I used to have those types of fun with my kids too…I can’t say that I miss them.
LOL! My youngest (who is 3 now) did that to me on the changing table at church on Easter Sunday…like, projectile. Crazy!
