Cut (1) 6 1/8″ red focal square.

Cut (1) 5 1/4″ red square.

Cut (1) 5 1/4″ aqua square.

1. Cut each 5 1/4″ twice on the diagonal.

2. Lay out block.

3. Sew corner triangles right sides together with 1/4″ seam. Press seams open.

4. Sew half square triangles to focal square. Press seams open.
