Do you have a good pair of fabric scissors? I had a decent pair but someone used them to cut cardboard and they haven’t functioned well since.
Needless to say, I was excited when CSN asked me to review some fabric scissors. The CSN site is really cool. They have a bunch of specialty areas I like. Their kids bedding is really cute and reasonably priced.
Anyway, I am going to hide my new scissors in a super secret place so they are not mistaken for regular scissors. After I give them a good trial run, I’ll let you know what I think.

PSA, PSA, PSA… This post has been edited to exclude a certain someone’s name who was “wrongfully accused” of misusing my favorite fabric scissors. Said person reminded me that I have no proof he was at fault. Said person told me “Hey, it could have been Kate for all you know.” Yes, I suppose that would be feasible. So I would like to issue a public apology for blaming a handsome person without solid evidence
Better, honey?

The only thing that’s special about my fabric scissors is that they hide in a drawer on my sewing table and don’t touch paper! I think they’re just basic Fiskars, probably from an office supply store rather than a fabric store. I rarely use them, though. I’m addicted to my rotary cutter!
I can’t imagine spending $26 on scissors… Lucky you getting them to review. You may try writing “FABRIC” on them with permanent marker to keep “someone” away
My Mom always threatened us with our lives if we used her fabric scissors for anything other than fabric. Finally she tied a red string around one of the finger holes of her fabric scissors and we always knew to never use the scissors with the red string!
I was going to tell you about my red ribbon I tie around the handle. Then I read it in the comment above this. Then I noticed that my daughter, Katy, posted that comment! See, I taught her well – don’t touch the scissors with the ribbon.
Pam, that cracks me up! And now I’m going to put red ribbon on my handles…
Katy – great tip. I need to be scarier and tie some red ribbon!
Meghan, I loooove my rotary cutter too. I know, $26 is steep so I feel very lucky to get a pair for free to review.
LOVE my Ginghers!!!
Said person thinks this apology is sufficient but not near as authentically apologetic as I had hoped.
Ya’ll crack me up.
