I lurrrrve Anthropologie. Which is funny, considering I own not one item from the store. But I pretty much like everything in there, a whole lotta bunch.

I saw this sweater the other week when I walked through the store and knew it must be mine:

I flipped the price tag over and quickly resigned myself to the fact that no, it would not be mine afterall! $98. That’s more than our monthly water bill. Couldn’t do it.

So I made my own.

I took this plain old black JC Penney cardigan:

(Excuse these pictures, it’s hard to photograph yourself! And pardon the random shoe in the picture above.)

Then I pinned some grosgrain ribbon to it:

And sewed it on. Voila!

I love it. And it was free :)
