Still Here

Be forewarned, this is a scattered post…

This weekend Brad and I cleaned out the garage. I wish I would have taken a before picture. It was bad. Real bad. Like can’t even park in the blasted thing bad. Here are a couple afters though. I love my label maker. Maybe a little tooooo much. Brad had to gently remind me it wasn’t necessary to label items like “bike” and “stroller.”

In case you were wondering what all those ruffles were for last week, I made new pillows for my family room using the Portabello Pixie tutorial. GREAT tutorial, by the way. Go check it out! I wouldn’t say I’m a leopard print kind of girl but I like them and think the ruffles are pretty sassy.

I’ve been finishing up craft show lovelies…

Somehow, my baby turned eight months old yesterday. How did that happen? Sara Paige is easy going, inquisitive, and extra kissable.

Kate has adored preschool so far. Her teachers are great and she talks about her new friends all the time. It’s so funny to hear her stories. I’ll have to take a video and post it sometime so you can see how animated Kate is when she speaks. She can make anything sound exciting. I love that about her.

Lastly, I’ve been prepping for this Thursday’s McKinney Marthas get together :) Yeah, the craft is fun each time but I’d say the conversation, chocolate, and wine are better! I’ll post a tutorial on Friday for the Frankenstein candy dishes we’re making. Super cute. You’ll love ‘em.

And now I am going to take a nap while my munchkins rest.

I love the ruffly pillows, they look so cute! Happy Eight Month Birthday to sweet Sara Paige…time has just flown right on by and that headband is so sweet! Happy to hear that Kate loves preschool…she and my daughter would get along beautifully as they seem very similar…my Antonina gets very animated and expressive as she tells me about her day. My sister always says she has a sparkling personality and I have to agree. Can’t wait for the candy dish…would love a new one for my house as I just bought a new one for my desk at work. Wished I lived near you so I could join ya’ll in the festivities! Have a great day Jenny! :O)
