Thank you guys so much for the feedback from my first try at business cards. The general consensus were they were okay and kinda cute but didn’t have much to do with my style.
I would tell you how long I’ve been working on this round but am embarrassed I’ve spent this much time on silly business cards, so I won’t tell you *just* how many hours. What do you think of this? I’m trying to match it more with my website. Honest opinions wanted! My eyes are going to go crazy after staring at these too long

PS – did anyone else see Martha Stewart yesterday? She made popovers! Ha

I’ll admit, the first round that you posted really didn’t tickle my picke.
It wasn’t modern and trendy enough, which I associate with you. Now this one is…FANTASTIC!!! I love the colors and the font. Plus, everything is very legible. Great job, Jenny!!
Elisa, you are so funny. “Tickle my pickle!” I’m going to start saying that
Thanks for the comment!
Love it! I think Ric Rac is my favorite ribbon or whatever you call it. Not sure what it will like on paper but looks like its going to be very bright and cheery – just like you
Ok, I didn’t say anything about the other one. I didn’t think I knew you well enough to critique, the other comments were positive when I read them, and I thought it might have something to do with my bird phobia, but I didn’t feel them at all! These are SO much better, more fun, and would make me want to look further!
LOVE THIS! Uber easy to read and really cute! It’s a keeper!
Did you make a font out of your handwriting? I think this one jives much better with your vibe! Good work! Good on ya for learning Photoshop, too!
Much better, I really like the font. However, not 100% about the flower it seems out of place down there.
Excellent! They came out great!
wow, look at your response sista’!! looks like you might have found your winner. i too love it! much easier to read, doesn’t quite attach you to one specific thing. allows you to be “YOU”. i do like the flower though, i think it softens the card with a bit of sweetness!!
I like it better without the flower when I covered it up.
But with or without it is a winner. To quote Melinda – Good on ya!
Hey girl! I really like this card too…I love the Ric Rac ribbon at the top. I do think you should add the needle and thread just above the j in your name like your signature on your blog…I just think that is a totally cute touch and I like the flower…and even if you don’t keep the flower, I think you should have some type of cute icon there…otherwise it will be too blank in my opinion. Great job though…really fresh and fun! :O)
The font isn’t my handwriting but it looks a lot like it!
Thanks for the feedback, you guys are the best. It helps to have more eyes
I like these much better. They look young and fun!
Honestly, I’m a non-designer, but I thought all versions were fabulous. Really pretty. I’d be thrilled to carry one of your cards in my wallet. I keep particular ones to make me smile as I’m frantically searching for my debit card. (What hasn’t been THERE, right? Ha!) My current fav is one from a paranormal psychologist that chases ghosts- really makes me giggle! I have no idea where I fall on believing the paranormal bit, but I think it’s incredibly humorous to market oneself in that manner. However, I DO still have his card, so it does meet with some success. ~.o
