Last night as I was tucking my spunky girl in bed, Kate said “Mommy, I’m not gonna go to preschool, okay? No thanks, school. Maybe I go next year.” I smiled and reassured her she would have tons of fun and get to play with new friends.
This morning her nerves had disappeared and girlfriend was ready to go to her first day of preschool!
I could hardly wait to pick Kate up this afternoon. She was in great spirits and told me that she “rocked out preschool” today!
Miss Thing is in the “Bear” class and here is her very first school craft, a bear mask:
How cute is that? It’s definitely going in the “save” box. I can’t wait to hear stories from the first part of Kate’s life that I’m not a part of. What a big girl!

YAY! Glad it went well. Seriously she will bring home some of the cutest things… they are so crafty up there!! We need to hang out some Friday when both girls are home. Grace needs some girl time – since lately we have been around nothin’ but boys
Awwww…she is SO precious and I’m glad to hear she had such a fun day. I love her scrunched up nose…just a doll she is. Here’s to a great year for the little sweetie! And here’s to your precious alone time with sweet baby girl SP!
