Craft Club’s First Meeting … Glass Etching!

Last night was the first meeting for our craft club, McKinney Marthas. We etched ourselves some pretty cute things, if I do say so myself. Take a look at a few of the pieces:

Thanks again, Sarah for the tutorial and craft club tips! Now we need to figure out what to do at the next meeting. I'd love suggestions! Leave a comment if you've got one :)

It looks so fun – I haven’t etched in years! I might have to try it again.

That really was fun. Thanks again for organizing that. I hope to make it to the next one.

I had so much fun!! Thanks so much for organizing everything. No ideas for next month… but I’m sure one your crafty friends will come up with something! Maybe some type of small sewing project…might be too hard since well have to have our machines. anyway thanks!!

  4. Jenny,
WOW! Your pieces turned out fabulously! What fun! Let me know what went well and what needs improvement so my group will be ready to go in August! I’m so excited you girls had fun! Our group met on Thursday night and did hanging magnetic photo frames. I’ll post about it as soon as I get my act together! This would be a great next craft for your group…it’s got the wow factor and it’s easy! The Double Whammy!

  6. Jenny says:

Oh, a wreath! I sure love wreaths. Great idea!
