31 weeks baby update

I just got home from a doctor's appointment. Measurements are a bit worse than last week and I got a firm command not to get up from the bed/couch unless absolutely necessary. The results of the fetal fibronectin (FFN) test that predicts labor in the next 14 days should be back Monday morning (update, they are negative!).

Great news is the baby is growing well and weighs about 3 pounds 15 ounces. Keep growing big and strong, little girl! :)

Glad the baby is growing! Not fun though about being on even more strict bedrest! I’ll still plan to bring your lunch on Monday unless I hear different. I’ll call after we leave Emma’s pediatrician.

i never realized how close our due dates were to each other! i’m due on january 27? you? i’ve been reading your blog on and off. i’m a lurker! i’ll admit it. :) i love the fun crafts you do, and your little girl is just amazing. i’m pregnant with my second child, my first is a little girl. i don’t know if #2 is a boy or girl. i’m a sucker for surprises!
you keep up the bed rest! i know it’s hard. especially since you seem like such a busy gal. you always have something up your sleeve. just hang in there. it’s best for both of you! only a hand full weeks more!
and just to give credit where it’s due, i have been working on my christmas presents these past few weeks.i’ve made 5 nursing covers (me, and two sister-in-laws are all expecting!), burp cloths, and i plan on making the smocket! all thanks to you. i’ve been quite busy. but i love the patterns and tutorials you’ve posted. i just can’t help myself. plus, i picked up a LOT of fabric on black friday.
    take care,
    -elisa

  3. Elisa, thanks so much for your comment :) I’m glad you have found some craft ideas useful. I’d love to see pictures! Congratulations on baby #2. That’s exciting not to find out the sex. I’m way too nosy!
